Role
Who you are
- Lyra is looking for a highly motivated Strategic Finance Manager to help us realize our mission of becoming the premier mental health solution for employers and employees
- 5+ years work experience (required), with 2+ years of private equity direct investing experience
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance multiple deliverables with competing timelines in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey recommendations and conclusions. Experience presenting thoughtful analysis and a compelling point of view directly to senior leadership
- Ability to collect, organize and analyze complex data at a macro and micro level with minimal supervision. Actively seeks the input and opinions of stakeholders; explores and considers a wide range of options before acting
- Demonstrates high critical thinking and problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail as well as an ability to tackle ambiguous situations
- Must be a proactive self-starter with exceptional follow-through and the ability to work well independently with minor supervision
What the job involves
- The role will be responsible for flexing across multiple lanes, including pricing strategy, new product development and M&A, and will be a key member of Lyra’s strategic finance team
- Pricing strategy & operations: partner with Go-To-Market to set pricing for new sales & renewals globally, balancing profitability targets and market dynamics to make high-quality pricing decisions
- New product development: partner with Go-To-Market and Ops teams to recommend pricing for new products & business lines that balances sustainability & market dynamics
- Unit economics thought leadership: propose and lead execution of analytics that help Lyra better understand key profitability levers, to inform pricing strategy and hurdle rates for new investment
- M&A strategy & execution: support deal execution, including business & financial due diligence, presenting recommendations to Lyra’s executive team and Board

The company offers video counselling sessions and one-to-one messaging to help users with a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorder. Coaching is also offered as a preventative measure.
Lyra Health boasts a 90% satisfaction rate across its more than 2.2 million members, demonstrating the impact that its products can have on wellbeing. In 2022, Lyra announced its acquisition of ICAS World, an international provider of employee assistance programs. Its global network includes over 1,500 companies and 6.3 million users across more than 155 countries, which should give Lyra smooth inroads into global markets.
