What the job involves
- The Dialer helps sales reps automate a lot of the busywork around sales calls
- It uses AI and data to optimize the time to connect to a call, the likelihood of reaching the right person who picks up, and to coach sales reps through calls and help them convert to revenue
- The Dialer team is the core revenue driver for Nooks
- It drives our two main product lines (the AI Dialer + AI Coaching, almost always sold together), which have grown 4x YoY in 2023 and 2024
- This is the beating heart of Nooks
- You will get to talk to customers and see the impact of what you build in days or weeks, not months
- Design and build critical product features. Own shipping them end-to-end
- Drive product strategy by building a deep understanding of the Nook's customer experience and user stories
- Dive into the details: analyze user sessions and capture analytics to find pain points and uplevel our application’s ease of use
- Mentor and collaborate with others on the team and cross team
Our take
For many businesses, the rise in hybrid and remote working has lessened team building and collaboration within their teams. Nooks was founded in 2020, initially as a virtual space for sales teams to collaborate and work in real-time, and to feel like they're working in the same room as their colleagues.
Nooks evolved from that social workflow premise and developed an AI dialer to automate manual tasks for sales teams. It also has a "Call Analytics" tool for sales teams to transcribe, analyse and improve upon their calls. Meanwhile, its virtual salesfloor still makes collaborating, team building and training easier for virtual teams.
While Nooks is up against large workflow management platforms such as Slack, its tight focus on sales teams lets it stand out. This speciality has led to several rounds of funding for Nooks, two of which came in 2024 off the back of massive momentum and growth for the company.
