Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (essential)
- Professional finance qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Proven experience in FP&A, with a strong track record in a leadership or senior advisory role
- Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools (Excel, ERP systems, BI tools)
- Strong business partnering capabilities, with experience working closely with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with ease
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial audiences
What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to provide maternity cover for the Director of FP&A
- This role is pivotal within the FP&A team, with a specific focus on supporting key business areas such as Technology and Brand Protection, as well as overseeing the planning, reporting, and analysis of Corsearch’s cost base
- The ideal candidate will act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, offering financial insights that drive informed decision-making
- You will be responsible for managing and mentoring one direct report and ensuring the seamless execution of FP&A activities throughout the contract period. This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, leadership, and strong business partnering skills
- Analyze business performance, providing actionable insights into cost trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner closely with the Technology and Brand Protection functions to drive financial planning and analysis
- Lead the preparation, consolidation, and presentation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses, with an emphasis on expense management and cost efficiency
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics to support business decisions and improve operational performance
- Champion continuous improvement of FP&A processes and tools, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of reporting and analysis
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across the organization, ensuring finance is seen as a value-added partner
- Manage, coach, and develop one FP&A team member, providing guidance to ensure high-quality deliverables and fostering professional growth
- Support the VP of FP&A with special projects as required, ensuring timely delivery of critical initiatives
