Role
Who you are
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with experience selling to or through platforms and other enterprise deals
- Proven ability to close large, multi-stakeholder deals with product and integration components
- Strong understanding of APIs, technical integrations, and monetization strategy
- Experience in property management, real estate tech, or the vertical SaaS space is a big plus
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- You’re hungry, organized, and resourceful; a true self-starter who thrives autonomously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where things move quickly
What the job involves
- You’ll own enterprise sales at a fast-growing proptech startup. You’ll work across several “large customer” segments
- You’ll work closely with the founders, product, and marketing teams to craft deals, manage partner relationships, and scale critical channels
- This is a high-impact, strategic role for someone who can navigate long sales cycles, work with technical buyers, and close complex deals with platform stakeholders. You’ll be the quarterback for one of our most important growth channels
- Own Enterprise Platform Sales: Identify, pitch, and close deals
- Drive Adoption: Collaborate with technical teams on both sides to guide integrations/implementations
- Be a Strategic Closer: Navigate complex sales cycles involving legal, product, and executive stakeholders
- Build Repeatable Playbooks: Help define processes, assets, and motions that make platform sales scalable
- Manage Rollouts: Set and hit milestones with partners post-signature to drive adoption and long-term revenue
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Align closely with product, marketing, and leadership to execute deals
Our take
Sunroom Rentals is a mobile-first digital marketplace that was created to help busy estate agents optimise their efficiency. It allows prospective renters to view and lease properties virtually, and helps property owners and managers to boost their profitability.
The founding team saw success with their previous delivery app Favor, and applied a similar "start-local" strategy. This approach saw the company begin by securing strong uptake in Austin, before expanding to other cities in Texas, and eventually cultivating a presence in many other states.
With an impressive start and steady expansion, Sunroom Rentals seems to have made a good name for itself. Though there are plenty of competitors in the space, it is also a growing market, so there should be ample opportunity for the company to continue to grow.
