What the job involves

Potentially lead a Soda open source project
Build features, integrations or a whole project of our Soda data monitoring platform
Interact with the data engineering teams at customers
Distill the common requirements and define the product strategy for data engineers
Build and lead a team of data and software engineers
Build developer relationships with members of the Soda community
Identify key influencers in the data community, engage and build up relationships
Become a respected voice in the data engineering community

Founded in Brussels in 2018, Soda has two distinct products. Soda Cloud, a collaboration web application that helps companies achieve greater visibility in where their data flows, allowing the layman to easily read and check that metadata is channelling to the right place. And Soda SQL, which can be integrated into a diverse range of tech stacks to scan data, which will then be read by Soda Cloud.

These two tools combined make it easy for every level of a company to understand what is happening to their information. Soda was awarded €11.5M in 2021 and continues to expand its products and services, aiming for full data transparency and agency, both within the world of developers and without.
