Role
Who you are
- Master’s Degree in Law, preferably from a Spanish or US educational institution
- Fluency in English, both orally and written (C1 minimum)
- At least 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an IT company
- Excellent legal research & drafting skills
- Experience in contract work
- Knowledge of GDPR and e-Privacy, CCPA, and other privacy laws
- Flexibility and eagerness to work in a dynamic environment with conflicting deadlines
- Team collaboration as well as ability to learn quickly, while seeing the business value of necessary routine work
- Ability to work independently, in order to organize your working time and space yourself
- Tech-savvy and knowledgeable in how to use a range of IT tools for work
What the job involves
- We are looking for a highly motivated team player, who will be able to strengthen the Legal team and increase the operational efficiency of legal processes. The successful Junior Legal Counsel will possess a growth mindset and will ensure smooth operations and compliance
- Strengthen the Legal team and increase the operational efficiency of legal processes
- Perform legal research on the required legal and business-related matters
- Draft clear and comprehensible memos on different legal matters (EU and US applicable laws)
- Draft, review, and execute various contracts (templated and customized)
- Assist our Customer Support Team and users in relation to legal matters requests
- Work closely and collaborate with the HR team
- Support the marketing team in IP and advertising matters
- Keep records, control, and optimize the documentation (including but not limited to all company’s agreements and contracts) workflow
- Maintain internal documentation databases
- Monitor and analyze legislative developments in the company’s areas and jurisdictions of operations (with a focus on Tier 1 countries, including, but not limited to US and EU)
