Who you are

At least +4 years of exprience in Microsoft Azure cloud Tech stack: Databricks, Data Lake, Data factory. Other components/cloud providers are a plus
Proficiency in OOP Python
Experience in SQL (any dialect)
Experience in data modeling
Data visualization skills are preferred, but not mandatory
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork and time management skills
Ability to effectively communicate data architectures, design and technical proposals
Valuable:
Experience with CI/CD and administration
Snowflake, Airflow, Salesforce integration

What the job involves

The position is a hands-on Data Engineer role, with a primary focus on developing Data solutions: collection, transport, maintenance/curation and access to PayRetailers corporate data assets
Build data acquisition process from various data sources like databases, files, REST APIs, streams
Transform large datasets using advanced analytical solutions and data engineering techniques
Create highly optimized analytical data models and data sets for reporting, analytics and Machine Learning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including on the client side, to discuss data-driven findings and take actionable items on technical issues
Participate in troubleshooting and managing data related incidents
