Role
Who you are
- 3+ years’ experience in talent acquisition and/or recruitment
- You are fluent in German and English
- Methodical - you are structured, clear, and organised in your thoughts, workflows, and how you present information
- Adaptive communication - you are able to tailor your verbal and written communication to different audiences, and this enables you to guide, advise, and influence those you engage with

What the job involves
- Stakeholder management - develop strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and to be able to provide support and guidance on talent acquisition for their roles
- Vacancy briefings and design - participate in collecting requirements for new vacancies, asking insightful and sometimes challenging questions, that will drive all parties into having an aligned understanding on the perfect candidate profile. Support in the creation of comprehensive job descriptions and interview guides
- Sourcing, screening & managing candidates - identify, attract and engage with exceptional talent by using different sourcing techniques and channels. Manage the entire candidate journey from initial contact, coordinating interviews to offer management and post-placement, ensuring a high quality candidate experience
- Reporting & Process improvement - deliver reports that provide insights on TA performance and insights. Examine interview and hiring processes, continuously identifying opportunities for experiments and improvements. Perform other projects as assigned
- Mentoring - coach others on best practices, share feedback and learnings, as well as provide guidance and support to your peers to help them develop their skills and knowledge
Our take
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) have a number of options when it comes to corporate cards. Revolut Business, Spendesk, and Pleo are among the competitors courting the business of European SMBs with pre-paid and debit options, but corporate finance management platform Moss is taking a different bet. It's looking to normalise the use of corporate credit cards in the region and is taking some promising steps to get it done.
Moss’ client roster consists of startups like Hometogo, Grover, and Joblift. Its proposition is appetising: through Moss’ in-house risk engine, companies can access a higher spending threshold than with traditional credit institutions. What's more, whilst corporate credit cards haven’t historically been the norm in Europe, this could change. With the startup scene flourishing, companies may be more attracted to the cash-flow flexibility that credit cards, as opposed to debit cards, provide.
Whilst relatively young, Moss has attracted strong cash injections - including from Peter Thiel’s own VC venture firm Valar Ventures. With expansion throughout Europe underway, it will be interesting to see how the company progresses as it pushes through the effects of the economic downturn to secure more partnerships and increase its reach into the future.
