Staff Revenue Accountant, Iterable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel
• 2+ years of experience in revenue accounting
• NetSuite/NetSuite ARM experience
• Billing system experience (e.g. Zone, Zuora, SuiteBilling)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

Desirable

• Reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager, this role is the key collaborator in the execution of daily and monthly operations of revenue accounting and reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Company policies
• Review revenue contracts, including escalation of significant and/or non-standard deals to ensure revenue recognition aligns with ASC 606 revenue criteria and Company policies
• Prepare general ledger account reconciliations, accurate reporting, and data validation of revenue, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue
• Support timely financial close, including assigned journal entries, accruals, and overall maintenance of operational accounts
• Responsible for on-going maintenance of SSP
• Assist with invoicing
• Assist with monthly commission calculation and related reconciliations
• Assist with audits including corporate audits and sales tax audits
• Participate in streamlining and process improvement projects related to Revenue and OTC
• Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc requests, and other assigned tasks
• Assist with developing and improving accounting policies and management reports
