Accounts Payable/Accounting Specialist, Sitecore

• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable role
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite and Coupa
• Familiar with Bank information requirements to execute payments
• Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organization skills and the ability to maintain detailed records
• Ability to consistently meet all deadlines
• Ability to work collaboratively across different departments
• Familiarity with VAT or Canadian GST/PST tax rules

Desirable

• The AP Specialist will work as part of the Accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager
• The person will perform full-cycle accounts payable function while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures and will also assist in month-end close activities
• Manage full-cycle AP workflow from timely and accurate processing of incoming AP invoices; this includes 3-way matching, coding and entering invoices, processing vendor payments, resolve vendor account discrepancies and provide timely responses to all vendor inquiries
• Coordinate routing of purchase orders and invoices for approvals
• Process weekly payment run
• Set up new vendors, update existing vendor profiles
• Assist with month-end close; responsibilities will include preparing AP accruals and supporting FP&A team to identify non-invoiced accruals
• Travel and Expenses: Process employee expense reports, prepare reconciliations between Expensify and NetSuite systems, maintain company’s travel credit card program, and develop and monitor employee expenses, audit rules and procedures in compliance with the company policy
• Prepare and maintain account reconciliations of AP subledger to General Ledger, and other assigned balance sheet accounts
• Respond to any internal and external vendor payment inquiries
• Prepare assigned audit requests in an accurate and timely manner and provide supporting payment documents for audit
• Prepare, issue and file 1099s in compliance with the IRS regulations
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned
• Accrue use taxes as applicable
