Our take

Digital 3D assets are nowadays used everywhere: from video games, movies, eCommerce, product design, architecture, military, and the list goes on. However, there is a big problem. Although demand is huge and rising, supply is limited and highly manual. This is largely because digital 3D asset creation is a manual, time-consuming process. 3D artists are highly skilled people who spend years learning the steep learning curve software that allows them to create 3D content.

This is the problem Kaedim is setting out to solve. The company is building ML algorithms that turn 2D images, art and sketches into 3D models automatically. It is focused on the applications of the technology for games and has developed a web app and an API on top of its core algorithms.

With recent funding, Kaedim is ready to supercharge its AI-powered 3D tools and expand its marketplace. By empowering creators to streamline the 3D content creation process, the company is set to shape the future of industries like gaming, eCommerce, and AR/VR - much like DALL-E transformed 2D image generation.
