Who you are
- We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead Software Engineer to join our team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Strong understanding of React AND Go Lang
- Experience leading software development projects/features
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile teams
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, including continuous integration, test-driven development (TDD), and iterative delivery
- Proficiency in English is required for this position
What the job involves
- In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of software products and ensuring the team adheres to best practices and coding standards
- You will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure timelines are met, and you will collaborate with all stakeholders involved in the SDLC lifecycle to proactively address any issues for the team
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers
- Oversee software development projects from conception to launch
- Work closely with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Design teams to understand requirements, set goals, and ensure timely delivery of projects
- Ensure coding standards and best practices are followed by the team
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Assist the Engineering Manager with conducting performance evaluations for team members
- Develop and maintain technical documentation
- Organizing and leading release management
- Act as a Scrum Master for Sprints
- Prepare solution development estimates including technical planning, refinement, and dependencies
- Provide technical expertise and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation and deployment
