Senior/Staff Software Engineer, Figure

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 7 years of industry experience
• Mastery of configuration management using Git
• Expertise with C++ and Python build and software integration tools (Bazel, CMake, Make, etc.)
• Proficient with scripting languages, including Python and Bash
• Experience with one or more major cloud providers
• Comfortable working with a broad range of continuous integration tools (GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.) and deployment tools (Ansible, etc.)
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform)
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, and microservices architectures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile and test-driven development principles

• We are looking for a Software Engineer passionate about developer productivity, automation and continuous improvement, to accelerate the development of the first humanoid robot that will be manufactured and deployed at scale
• Develop tools and infrastructure to scale continuous software integration and deployment systems
• Optimize build times, and help scale the execution of automated tests and analysis
• Integrate new build toolchains and software components to support the next generations of humanoids
• Improve tooling and processes to integrate third-party repositories
• Provide developers with an easy-to-set-up development environment aimed at accelerating software development
• Collaborate with all engineering teams to prioritize feature development, optimizations, and reliability improvements
