Ava’s mission is to empower 450 million deaf & hard-of-hearing people to a totally accessible world.
Ava uses artificial as well as human intelligence to instantly transcribe what people say, to allow workplaces to be more inclusive for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. The company counts a number of major international brands amongst its customers, including Hilton and FedEx.
What makes Ava’s offering so impactful is that it can integrate with all major media and communication apps, from Facebook Live to Zoom, to instantly generate captions of live or recorded content. Beyond this however, Ava can also be used in in-person meetings, school, and daily life, as well as in video calls.
While it’s available to individual customers, it’s quite likely that Ava will continue to focus on business customers, as they are now increasingly keen to put accessibility and inclusion at the core of their operations.
