Role
Who you are
- At least 1 year of supporting technical recruitment efforts (scheduling, admin, job posting)
- Experience working in data-driven environments, with the ability to track and understand key metrics (conversions rates, time to fill)
- Experience sourcing and hiring international candidates
- Confidence to advocate for Darwin’s hiring needs and deliver results from various hiring agencies
- Experience partnering with firms/agencies to hire technical candidates
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous and ever changing environment
- Experience reviewing job descriptions and posting to job boards
- High attention-to-detail and ability to juggle multiple requests/schedules for interviews and assessments
- Ability to effectively articulate the Darwin Homes story to candidates
- Ability to establish relationships by phone, email, and social media channels
- Some experience with recruiting and best practices
- Knowledge of ATS tools (Lever is a bonus!) and recruiting technologies

What the job involves
- Darwin Homes is growing fast and we're looking for a highly motivated, intelligent, and passionate Technical Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. You will assist in scheduling of interviews, prescreens, source candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers and People Ops partners to assist with recruiting technical positions
- Maintain accurate data in our ATS and track recruitment activity for technical roles
- Schedule interviews and assessments for technical candidates
- Maintain effective workflow, track metrics and processes within the recruiting department for technical roles
- Reaching out to candidates to gauge interest and fit for roles at Darwin
- Execute an exceptional candidate experience
- Work with international agencies and candidates
- Conducting follow up calls and meetings with firms/agencies
- Build solid relationships with hiring managers, teams, candidates and firm/agency reps
- Be a passionate Darwin Homes brand ambassador before, during, and after recruitment
- Point of contact for technical reqs and candidates throughout the recruiting cycle
- You will help us build our talent brand in addition to our talent pipeline
- Partner with hiring managers and candidates on schedules and timelines to fill open positions
- Assist with recruitment projects and other administrative support/tasks as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Our take
Single-family rentals are an attractive investment opportunity and asset class in the US, but the management process of these property rentals can pose challenges. Ownership is typically fragmented; it's difficult to discover a reliable property manager, and the overall experience often results in all involved parties being left with a feeling of lack of trust and transparency.
Darwin Homes provides proprietary property management software that specializes in solving historic challenges in the single-family rental industry. The platform is provided to high-quality and transparent local property managers, with the software tools helping the manager to stay on top of duties, find tenants, and ultimately streamline their investment.
Many property management platforms already exist, but Darwin Homes' specialization in single-family rentals presents huge potential to make a lucrative but complicated industry more efficient. The company has expanded out from serving property managers in Texas and Ohio to other states across the US, and in 2023 was acquired by Pagaya - which "evaluated many players" in the space, but ultimately found Darwin "the best and most differentiated by a substantial margin".
