Role
Who you are
- You have a 5+ years proven track record of building and leading startup & mid market sales teams with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions
- You have relevant customer industry know-how and network, especially in B2B SaaS and selling to Tech Companies (C-Level, CTO, CFO and C-1)
- You thrive in coaching and enabling your sales team (you are experienced in leading manager functions within a sales team)
- You have the ability to make fast decisions and you consistently aim to get to the best solution for the company and our people
- You have first or second line sales team management experience as well as excellent reporting, forecasting skills and time-management skills
- You possess strong interpersonal skills, are analytical and you can break down complex problems
- You are able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, are able to find creative solutions to complex problems and can work independently
- You have managed a fast-growing remote team in different geographical locations and know exactly how to attract and win the right talents
- You are a strong communicator with a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic and excellent team building skills
- You are fluent in English, further languages (German, French, Spanish, Dutch) are considered a plus to support our multinational and diverse team
- You are comfortable working remotely (we don't have an office)
What the job involves
- Growing our business across Europe and take ownership of the full pipeline, from lead generation to closing
- Creating a sales vision, mission and values for EMEA Sales that empowers the team
- Designing, implementing and continuously improving highly scalable sales processes
- Scaling your team: Further grow the sales team and develop your leaders & Account Executives on a strategic and operational level
- Managing and leading a team of currently 3 team leaders, and 12 Account Executives within EMEA, being responsible for performance management, career development and growing the team, identifying opportunities for training and growth across the team together with our head of Sales Enablement
- Managing forecasts, sales reports and dashboards to ensure the results you deliver can be easily understood by stakeholders throughout the organization
- Analyzing sales pipeline, preparing accurate forecasting to derive measures and define areas for improvement & to ensure proper planning support
- Supporting in complex deal negotiations, forecasting & sales planning, representing Sastrify externally
- Developing new strategies to further expand within EMEA, driving process improvement and participating in business reviews with leadership
Our take
Sastrify’s highly automated platform helps companies, mainly small to medium-sized, optimise their SaaS procurement and spending. It’s a smart model as the SaaS industry continues to boom, meaning companies are often at risk of overspending on superfluous tools.
Though only launched in 2020 by a pair of former mobility industry entrepreneurs, Sastrify has shown remarkable growth, already being used by unicorn startups such as Gorillas and sennder.
Through proper investment and strategic partnerships (with companies such as Capchase), Sastrify is aiming to accelerate sales and product development in Europe, the US, and beyond. 2023 funding will help it meet the growing demand for its services by scaling its teams in the US and Europe and further developing its product.
