Who you are

Professional experience developing most aspects of modern applications on the server side
Proficiency and deep understanding of the core cloud technologies
Fluent in OO design and functional programming paradigms
5+ years experience as a backend developer
Experience working on high-scale AI/ML-driven projects, with weekly releases to production
Experience working with data science and machine learning deployments
Technical proficiency with Python, Docker, GitHub, REST and PostgreSQL, amongst others
Excellent communication skills in English
BSc / MSc in Computer Science

What the job involves

Focus mainly on backend with python (85% backend and 15% frontend)
Develop backend for the AI models serving infrastructure
Own the development, deployment, and production support
Design software to handle industrial tools data injection and integration at scale
Partner effectively with product managers and researchers to maintain and execute against the product roadmap

Our take

Lynceus is developing an AI-powered predictive operating system for manufacturing, that delivers real-time visibility into every step of the production process. Through the OS, users can assess the quality of their products as they are being made, without having to wait to run physical testing. This enables them to know where an issue is originating and target their response towards a swifter and easier resolution.

The product, called Lynceus Argo, has been designed to integrate with existing databases and systems, and runs entirely on existing data. This means there is no need for businesses to update legacy systems, making for fast deployment without the need to halt production.

Lynceus has begun by tackling automotive-grade semiconductor manufacturing, though its offering has the potential to be used across any high-value, complex industrial environment. It has certainly made an impression in the space, and will be one to watch as it further develops.
