Who you are
- We're looking for a PR expert who can understand complex and important issues, particularly in the finance and investing space, and explain them in person, as well as via email, blog posts, and more
- You are currently managing or leading PR at a tech company or you are currently an Account Director at a PR agency and you are looking to move in-house
- You have contacts across the mainstream tech, startups, and business media. You've built strong, productive, long-term relationships with journalists and other opinion formers
- You’re curious and collaborative
- You thrive on building the right narrative and telling it the correct way

What the job involves
- As our PR & Communications Manager, you’ll own how we tell our story through earned media: news sites, blogs, podcasts, TV, and the traditional press
- Additionally, you might deploy your outstanding writing skills in a multitude of ways - from deep blog posts to social media content and more
- Embed yourself across the teams ranging from Engineering to Operations to discover and deeply understand the (often untold) stories and trends of Freetrade, our industry, and the world
- Pitch the best and most relevant stories to journalists and other opinion formers in your ever-growing network
- Get to know Freetrade’s executives, their views, voices and agendas, and help build their media profiles
- Develop communications campaigns based on the above, including supporting materials like blog posts, opinion pieces and other materials
- Drive awareness of Freetrade through a regular flow of timely, relevant stories
Our take
2025 is a big year for Freetrade. In January, they announced a game changing deal to become part of the IG Group. They will continue to operate as an independent business while gaining access to the resources and support of an established leader in the space.
This year, they are accelerating their roadmap and taking their products to the next level. They are building new features like mutual funds, bonds, and family investment tools. They are also exploring how they can leverage AI to deliver an even better experience for their customers.
