Who you are
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in ambiguity, and can confidently navigate shifting priorities with discretion and professionalism
- 8+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting senior leadership, ideally within media, advertising, or entertainment technology
- A track record of proactively managing executive priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems before they arise
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface confidently across all levels of an organization
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools, with the ability to adapt to new systems quickly
- A solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for driving efficiency and impact
What the job involves
- As an Executive Assistant at Roku Media, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving efficiency and effectiveness for our executive leadership team
- This isn’t just about managing calendars—it’s about being a trusted partner who enables executives to focus on high-impact initiatives while ensuring the seamless execution of critical business operations
- This role is highly visible and integral to our fast-paced media environment
- You’ll interact daily with senior leaders across our Advertising and Content businesses, providing proactive support and anticipating needs before they arise
- Act as a strategic partner to Roku Media’s executive leadership, optimizing their time and enabling high-impact decision-making
- Manage complex calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics, ensuring seamless scheduling across multiple time zones
- Prioritize competing demands, exercising sound judgment to keep executives focused on what matters most
- Track and drive key action items, ensuring follow-through on high-priority initiatives
- Support leadership meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing follow-ups to ensure progress
- Serve as a liaison between executives, direct reports, and external partners to streamline communication and coordination
- Plan and execute high-profile meetings and events, ensuring a seamless experience for internal and external stakeholders
- Handle confidential information with professionalism, integrity, and discretion

Roku provides an integrated streaming service that offers TV channels, movies and third-party streaming services, resulting in an all-in-one streaming platform. The service can be accessed through a variety of customized subscription packages and fees.
Roku stands out in the streaming industry by bringing many competitors together in one package. The startup provides further innovative services such as a weekly TV series named 'Roku Recommends' which uses first-party data to recommend essential viewing to users. Alongside funding filmmakers through its "Change Makers Program", Roku also acquired its own original library of shows through its acquisition of now-defunct Quibi's library in 2021. After successful collaborations with TCL and Hisense, the first in-house "Roku Television" was released in 2023, further exemplifying the streaming company's wider ambitions in the media sector.
