Who you are
- AI/ML Product Leadership: 5+ years of dedicated experience in AI/ML product management, with a track record of launching and scaling complex technical services
- Domain Expertise: Deep familiarity with modern AI workflows and the end-to-end model lifecycle, including training, orchestration, and deployment
- Market Fluency: A sophisticated understanding of the current AI industry landscape, emerging product gaps, and the evolving needs of AI-native developers
- Masterful Communication: Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse technical teams

What the job involves
- Crusoe Cloud is seeking a visionary Staff Product Manager to spearhead the development of our next-generation Managed Intelligence services. In this high-impact role, you will be instrumental in defining, building, and scaling AI services that empower our customers to unlock the full potential of artificial intelligence. You will lead the charge in creating future AI and agentic capabilities, positioning Crusoe as the premier destination for AI-native companies
- As a senior leader within the product organization, you will champion a customer-first culture and bridge the gap between complex model research and scalable cloud products. You will engage cross-functional teams to land strategic roadmaps that align with Crusoe’s mission to provide the "gold standard" of reliable, climate-aligned AI infrastructure. This is a full-time position for a strategic thinker who is ready to redefine the model lifecycle for the modern enterprise
- AI Service Innovation: Define and lead the product strategy for Managed Intelligence, focusing on building next-generation AI and agentic capabilities at Crusoe
- Strategic Roadmap Execution: Engage cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Research, and GTM—to land and execute strategic roadmaps that drive long-term platform value
- Market Growth & Acquisition: Drive initiatives to grow the business by attracting AI-native companies and developers to the platform through differentiated service offerings
- Customer-First Advocacy: Champion a customer-centric product culture, ensuring that user feedback and developer needs directly inform the evolution of our AI services
- Model Lifecycle Definition: Establish the product requirements for a seamless model lifecycle, from data ingestion and fine-tuning to high-performance inference and agentic workflows
- Trend Synthesis: Leverage a deep understanding of AI industry trends and product gaps to position Crusoe ahead of the competition in the "Neocloud" space
- Strategic Collaboration: Act as the primary interface between technical model labs and commercial stakeholders to ensure technical breakthroughs translate into customer value
Our take
Crusoe is tackling one of the biggest challenges facing the digital age: the enormous energy demand of data centres and AI infrastructure. As AI models grow more powerful, they require immense computing power (and therefor electricity) to train and operate. This surge in energy use has put some pressure on power grids, driven up costs, and raised environmental concerns. Crusoe is on a mission to make this process more sustainable by finding smarter, cleaner, and more efficient ways to power the data centres that drive modern computing.
The company started out by putting wasted energy to work. Originally known as Crusoe Energy, it captured natural gas that would otherwise be burned off ("flared") at remote oil sites and used it to power modular data centres. Today, Crusoe has evolved into a major player in AI infrastructure, designing and operating large-scale data centres near renewable or stranded energy sources. It's now one of a handful of "neocloud" companies (next-generation cloud providers focused on flexible, efficient computing for AI workloads). And its facilities are helping tech giants like OpenAI handle the massive computing requirements of training advanced AI models.
Recently, Crusoe has attracted some huge investor attention, tripling its valuation to over $10B and raising $1.4B in its latest funding round. It's building OpenAI's first major US data centre campus and even experimenting with bold new frontiers. In partnership with Starcloud, Crusoe plans to deploy the world's first space-based cloud computing infrastructure, powered by solar energy and orbiting the Earth by 2027. If successful, this could redefine how and where computing happens, opening up a cleaner, virtually limitless source of energy for AI's next generation.
