Who you are

5+ years Atlassian Jira Service Management, Confluence, and JIRA experience with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related discipline
Strong experience working with Atlassian data center and cloud versions of JSM and Confluence
Experience working in and support of Product Development organizations
Strong experience with Atlassian relational databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrates strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and in teams

What the job involves

Okta is seeking an Atlassian Solutions Architect to focus on effectively scaling our Product Delivery function. The Atlassian Solutions Architect will develop and configure technical solutions to allow our teams to better collaborate and deliver effectively.
Manage the use of the Okta Customer Identity Cloud’s suite of Atlassian tools ( JSM, Confluence, Jira Software, etc.) and associated plugins
Evaluate and provide recommendations to solve specific requirements to more effectively leverage our tools to support our Product Delivery Lifecycle and Software Delivery Lifecycle
Evaluate and develop business cases for plugins and tools available on the Marketplace to solve for specific requirements
User and group project management and maintenance
Subject Management Expert (SME)to troubleshoot issues and respond to ad-hoc requests
Own, update and/or managing workflows, fields, automation, schemes, filters, notifications, dashboards, and subscriptions
Facilitate new Project creation and clean-up
Maintain documented Knowledge Base specific to Agile tool usage and best practices and conduct training for employees and new hires on the usage of Jira and other Atlassian tools
Serve as a key member of our Ways of Working Council to ensure changes and improvements are fully integrated to our product development lifecycle
Stay informed about the latest features, updates, and trends in Atlassian tools and recommend improvements for their optimal usage
Establish and maintain governance policies and best practices related to Atlassian tools
