What the job involves
- The Head of Customer Success is responsible for managing some of Vetcove’s most important commercial relationships. You will manage a high-performing team that supports our largest animal health pharmaceutical manufacturer partners (e.g. Zoetis, Boehringer Ingelheim) with critical sales and marketing functions
- You will frequently be presenting to and interacting with decision-makers across our largest partners, so you should be confident and comfortable performing in high-stakes environments
- We’ve built a strong team around this function, and you’ll be responsible for fostering the potential of and supporting the professional development of that team. Together, you all will be responsible for driving value to these critical relationships to maintain and grow them
- Manage a team of 8-10 people focused on supporting Vetcove’s largest manufacturer partners
- Assist in developing strategies for, implementing, and proving the effectiveness of different initiatives, alongside the team and partners
- Travel (up to 25%) to clients for in-person business reviews and strategy sessions, building strong trust
- Gather feedback to inform our commercial strategy and development priorities
- Assist in outlining and reviewing team-created materials that will be sent to clients (proposals, results decks, QBRs, etc.)
- Continually iterate on team process to optimize performance
- Conduct regular account reviews to set achievable goals and asses performance across accounts

Purchasing inventory for veterinary hospitals can be time-consuming and expensive, as finding the best prices requires a lengthy process of researching suppliers and comparing their prices. Whilst some comparison tools do exist for veterinary organizations, existing solutions do not take into account custom negotiations, GPOs or corporate pricing schemes, limiting the thoroughness of comparisons.
Vetcove provides an online marketplace for veterinary hospital inventory procurement, allowing clinics to reduce ordering times and costs through its free service. The company achieves this by allowing users to link their existing vendor accounts and list their custom pricing arrangements, helping inform a more accurate comparison ecosystem and boost supplier sales, whilst resolving supply chain limitations.
Whilst veterinary organizations already have access to the suppliers provided on Vetcove’s marketplace, the company stands out by integrating custom pricing arrangements into the comparison ecosystem. This helps to provide a more holistic and accurate overview of supply chain inventories and costs. Whilst the marketplace is free for veterinary clinics and organizations, the company charges suppliers to be listed.
