Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for a high-energy, creative, detail-oriented and passionate person to join the Sales organization at Lookout
- Successful candidates will be results-oriented, self-directed and have a strategic orientation balanced with a strong ability to contribute directly to the businesses we build with our customers
- You will have experience supporting technical sales of software in the region
- You have solid contacts within the technical community
- You are an experienced engineer with a successful track record of solving difficult technical issues, architecting a solution to meet customer needs, and providing valuable feedback to senior management based on customer input
- You know how to ensure that your customer's needs and wants are conveyed across the organization, while primarily safeguarding the interests of your own company
- A solid system/sales engineer with excellent relevant experience, strong ties with customers and an extremely positive reputation for delivery
- 8+ years of direct sales engineering experience with customers
- Experience in the cloud security market including hands on knowledge of CASB or other SASE solutions or knowledge of mobility management techniques such as MDM, MAM and iOS / Android
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to boil down complex topics into clear and easily understandable messages
- The ability to sit on technical panels and deliver strong technical presentations to prospective customers
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective solutions, optimize efforts and communicate results
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive others. Be able to say “no” when necessary, take charge of the account, manage all interactions with that account
- Flawless organizational and follow up skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Valid Driver's License required
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for the technical aspects of managing and growing our enterprise business with named accounts
- Deliver upon the revenue plan associated with your named channel partners
- Create deep ongoing relationships at multiple levels of the partner organizations
- Manage investments to improve win probability
- Collaborate with customers to integrate Lookout Security product capabilities into their RFP requirementsCollaborate with customers to integrate Lookout Security product capabilities into their RFP requirements
- Aid in the response to RFIs and RFPs in a timely and professional manner to win business
- Present customer requirements, competitive analysis, and value proposition to product, marketing, and leadership teams
- Provide input to senior management on go-to-market strategies
- Enhance Lookout Security's brand visibility through presentations at industry seminars and conferences
- Provide training and collateral to partners and prospects for effective Lookout product demonstrations and presentations
- Train partners and prospects on leveraging Lookout's API for task automation, driving their success in selling Lookout products

Lookout is a cybersecurity company offering integrated endpoint-to-cloud security services. As more businesses move to the cloud, there has become a greater need for endpoint-to-cloud security services that secure business data. Lookout provides cybersecurity services that protect businesses from privacy risks as an increasing number of business processes become connected and digital.
The biggest competitor to Lookout is SASA (secure access service edge) platforms, which create a perimeter of data protection for businesses in the cloud. However, Lookout aims to provide a unique service to SASA platforms by offering a less invasive cybersecurity product that respects user privacy on personal devices.
The co-founders of Lookout set out to provide individuals and businesses with better security protection before smartphones were in widespread use. The company will continue to adapt and develop its services in an attempt to protect security and privacy in an increasingly digital world. Substantial funding, indicative of the demand for a unified security platform to streamline data protection, will support its continued growth.
