Who you are
- 2-6 years of professional work experience with a track record of driving results; preference for prior experience working in consulting, finance or related field
- Experience at a high-growth startup is required
- Hands-on experience building with AI tools and systems—you've shipped things that work

What the job involves
- We're building a team of high-impact generalists who thrive in ambiguity and turn strategic priorities into operational reality. As a Strategy & Operations Associate, you'll be aligned to a functional department —from Marketing and Sales to Customer Experience and beyond— and work closely with leadership, tackling our most pressing opportunities and driving measurable business outcomes
- This role is for operators who move fast, think strategically, and get hands-on with building scalable solutions. You'll test new marketing channels, build AI-powered systems that multiply team capacity, identify operational gaps, and own high-impact projects from concept through launch. - You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters. We default to being in-office 3-4 days per week with required attendance on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Drive growth initiatives across marketing, sales, and customer experience by testing and validating new acquisition channels, retention strategies, and operational experiments
- Create AI-powered tools and workflows that multiply output
- Partner with your respective leader to identify growth opportunities and operational gaps, getting hands-on to solve for those gaps
- Translate strategic priorities into concrete action plans, taking ownership of high-impact projects and working cross-functionally from concept through launch
- Run rapid tests across multiple functions and drive analysis and execution of new ideas

Business management platforms exist for a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, and healthcare. However, despite a modern facade the beauty industry lacks specialized software and still runs on generic CRMs and basic spreadsheets. Recognizing a gap in the market, GlossGenius has stepped in to provided a specialized business management platform for beauty salons, spas and studios.
With little competition in this niche, GlossGenius has swiftly captured a large market share, with triple-digit year on year revenue growth. It serves over 1000,000 businesses and has raised more than $70M.
With this funding, the company is aiming to accelerate platform development off the back of the release of consumer experience, payment and automation products. And it is well on the way to fulfilling its long-term aim of developing into the Toast of the beauty industry.
