Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has a combination of exceptional customer service and a passion for working with people, processes, and systems, focusing heavily on total rewards and HR systems and tools
- 5+ years experience in a Human Resources/People Operations function, preferably within a mix of tech start-up and large company environments
- Experience designing and implementing employee benefits plans and total compensation packages
- High-level technical knowledge of HRIS systems and software implementation (Justworks, Carta, Greenhouse), with the ability to create and manage HR dashboards and reporting
- A successful track record of supporting high volume HR processes, personnel management and change management
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities and adapt to a fluid, high-growth environment
- Team player with a sense of ownership and get things done attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
- Able to combine great people's intuition, business judgment and discretion in your decision-making.Oversee and execute People Operations functions, ensuring efficient processes and a positive employee experience
- Knowledge of HR compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices
What the job involves
- The People Team plays a pivotal role in supporting our rapidly growing organization and serving as a strategic partner for a team of 130+ employees
- This team manages and optimizes a wide range of functions, including company benefits, compensation, HR systems, and data-driven reporting and analytics
- People Operations ensures our workforce is equipped with the resources and insights necessary to thrive and drive organizational success
- We are currently looking for a People Operations Manager to manage Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits), HR Systems and Tools, and Employee Inquiries
- Reporting to the VP, People this person will be a key member of the People team in helping support our employees regarding their benefits, compensation, managing our HR systems and tools, and answering employee questions
- Oversee and execute People Operations functions, ensuring efficient processes and a positive employee experience
- Act as the first point of contact for employee day-to-day HR queries and requests
- Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs
- Manage Carta (equity management system) in partnership with our external law firm
- Maintain and update employee personnel records and e-filing in Justworks
- Support our bi-weekly US payroll process in Justworks
- Manage company benefits programs and advise Tomorrow Health on any benefit queries
- Support Tomorrow Health with verification of employment letters, as well as custom letter requests
- Manage our onboarding and offboarding processes for all US based employees
- Produce HR reports, carry our regular data audits and support HR compliance-related requests
- Manage immigration work with external counsel
- Manage leave of absence in partnership with managers

Tomorrow Health is one of a significant number of startups operating in the healthcare space. The platform allows carers and patients, those homebound permanently, recovering from surgery or living with chronic conditions, to find durable medical equipment. It also coordinates the logistical issues between payers and insurance providers and takes care of home delivery.
An advantage for users is that it goes further than simply being an online shopping platform for medical supplies. It also uses key data to find the most suitable products based on location, insurance coverage, and product specialization. It's also targeting not just patients and their unpaid carers, but healthcare providers. The company has made good progress in this regard by partnering up with Medicaid company Geisinger Health.
The global health tech space is booming, expected to reach a whopping $1.5 trillion USD by 2030. This means that there’s plenty of competition for the Andreessen Horowitz-backed startup.
