Who you are
- You have a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on delivering impactful products in complex ecosystems; or equivalent professional experience

- Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product opportunities tailored to families & groups and private vacation homes on Vrbo
- As part of the Vrbo & VR product team, this product manager will be an expert on Vrbo customer needs, responsible for new product capabilities within the Vrbo traveler experience, and deliver high priority opportunities in coordination with tech, design and analytics teams
- They will do this while using advanced technologies like AI/ML and the EG travel platform
- You will play a key role in enabling more Vrbo travelers to have unforgettable trips that inspire repeat
- Help develop and articulate a compelling product vision for the Vrbo traveler experience, effectively communicating it to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive narrative
- Create and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, aligning target outcomes, KPIs, and delivery milestones with organizational priorities
- Drive customer-centricity: Represent the voice of the customer and champion to internal teams and partners
- Identify organizational, technical, product, design, and data gaps to unlock step change-improvements
- Drive user-centric tradeoff decisions with UX teams, ensuring designs are financially viable and customer-focused
- Leverage data insights, market research, and user feedback to identify opportunities that improve the customer journey and enhance satisfaction
- Facilitate discussions with business and technical teams to evaluate feasibility, make tradeoffs, and incorporate AI/ML-powered solutions
- Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure alignment with long-term product vision and scalability

Its primary web businesses include Expedia.com, Hotels.com, Hotwire.com, and Egencia.com.
Between 2021 and 2022, Expedia has been selling and merging a list of its sub-brands in a bid to simplify its operations, including Egencia and Classic Vacations. Due to plummeting share prices, mostly in the case of its sub-brands, Expedia has been leveraging its subsidiaries' customer base and merging them into the company’s core brand. Contrasting this move, Expedia has also been partnering with tech start-ups in a bid to make travel more accessible to underserved groups. Becoming Rentable, a travel company for the disabled is one of 12 startups that are part of Expedia Group’s new Open World Accelerator Programme.
What this indicates is Expedia’s shift from buying other travel companies and a move towards enhancing the experience of its preexisting customer base. This move is aiding in a long-term plan for greater long-term traveler loyalty, utilizing Expedia’s vast amounts of data, not just from reviews, but from check-in, cleanliness, communication, cancelations, etc to inform how guests experience a property.
