Who you are
- You are proactive. You are motivated to understand product/technical challenges
- You have a good knowledge of TypeScript and related web technologies
- You are interested in working with new AI tools and LLMs
- You are comfortable leading technical projects and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders
- You have a good understanding of testing software and understand how to create quality products
- You have experience in running A/B tests and validating your ideas with data
- You’re an excellent communicator and you’re able to work well asynchronously

What the job involves
- The Activation team is on a mission to help new users fall in love with making videos using VEED
- We craft seamless onboarding experiences and innovative in-product guidance that make it easy for creators to discover the magic of VEED's AI tools
- Driven by experimentation, we run rapid tests and ship impactful features that enhance the journey for new users
- Working closely with your product and design counterparts to design and build engaging onboarding experiences, helping new users discover the value of VEED
- Help bring VEED to a wider audience by maintaining and improving our translations infrastructure
- Work across the full VEED product, running experiments in both frontend and backend services

VEED is an online tool that aims to make video editing as simple as possible. With a user interface stripped down to the bare essentials, VEED allows creators and marketers to edit videos, add subtitles and credits, and share and distribute the end product. By specifically focusing on the needs of a social media-first audience, the founding team have created a product that integrates seamlessly with key platforms and can be used without training.
The platform has grown significantly since its launch in 2018, and now boasts hundreds of thousands of monthly active users, and month-to-month growth. The founders have ambitious growth plans for the coming decade as they build out their team and grow their user base to become the online video editing platform of choice.
