Who you are

- 8+ years experience ideally with experience in business operations, finance, and/or management consulting
- 3+ years as a people manager at a venture backed company

- Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with a heightened focus on attention to detail; strong sense of urgency, proactivity, and independence
- Ability to structure work plans, navigate competing priorities, and manage complex projects end-to-end

- Experience in B2B fintech or finance-related industries
- Hands-on experience with HR operations and compliance management

What the job involves
- You will partner very closely with our CEO, COO, and Cross-Functional Leadership to dive deep into business performance, advise leadership with analytical business insights, and develop strategic plans
- You will lead a cross-functional team of Accounting, FP&A, Compliance, Info Security and HR to scale Method’s strategic priorities and solve our most challenging business issues
- Be a thought partner to oversee the growth of the company and develop systems to support our growth
- Manage the accounting, finance, compliance, infosec, HR functions and collaborate closely with business to align and execute projects according to the company roadmap
- Drive Product-Operations Alignment: Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to enhance and manage operations for Method’s product suite
- Jump into various cross-functional projects to keep things on track and fill in the gaps in skill and bandwidth. One day you may be reviewing financial forecasts, the next you might be driving infosec audit
- Implement metrics and KPIs to track and optimize operational efficiency, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive performance
- Establish and maintain internal controls, compliance, and risk management practices
- Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations for strategic partnerships
Our take
Managing debt payments can be a challenge for fintech developers, who usually have to build these features into their products from scratch. Method aims to make this process much easier, providing an API which allows developers to embed debt and bill payment automation into their own apps.
Though facing a competitive market, the company is rolling out new features such as instant balance transfers and real-time credit card transactions while regularly forging new partnerships to stay ahead of the competition. So far, it has grown a customer base of 60 customers and ~5 million end-users.
The company has raised a significant amount of capital, most recently in a 2025 Series B led by Emergence Capital. This will be used to accelerate product development and onboard new talent. As the fintech sector continues to surge, Method's product will be a valuable tool in allowing new startups to compete with traditional institutions.
