Role
Who you are
- Has a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Has expert knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks such as Javascript, Typescript, HTML/CSS, React, React Native
- Proficient in backend technologies like Node.js, Next.js, Python, or other server-side environments
- Has solid experience implementing microservice architectures (both API and event-driven) and microfrontend architectures, with deep understanding of related design patterns and best practices
- Familiar with frameworks and libraries designed to work with microfrontends, such as single-spa or similar
- Familiar with microfrontend deployment strategies and challenges
- Proficient with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery), SQL, and caching mechanisms such as Redis, Memcached, and Varnish
- Experienced with automated testing of systems and applications
- Comfortable with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and building cloud-native applications
- Experienced working in a cloud environment such as Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Knowledgeable in designing and delivering secure, robust systems and architecture
What the job involves
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software with a strong focus on best practices and efficient coding
- Contribute to the evolution of our software platform by writing clean, functional code for both frontend and backend aspects
- Develop intuitive UI tools for internal operations and administration
- Prioritize and manage individual projects effectively, adhering to deadlines and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Take the initiative in proposing technical solutions and actively contribute to architectural decisions
- Develop efficient APIs to improve inter-service communication
- Author comprehensive technical documentation to aid team understanding and collaboration
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software, ensuring we provide the best possible user experience
- Implement and advocate for best practices in testing, monitoring, and system design
- Collaborate effectively with other developers, product managers, designers, and commercial teams to solve complex and exciting challenges
