What the job involves
- Delivering media activity in a fast-paced environment to support key business areas, including projects working with partners promoting the Group’s reputation to external audiences.
- Acting as a source of professional expertise, providing media advice to partners and business areas, including challenging and influencing senior partners.
- Handling enquiries from the media relating to specific business area(s) with a key focus on Group issues and supporting our commercial banking division on proactive projects, research and campaigns to enhance the reputation of a brand within the Group.
- Identifying, raising and mitigating emerging risks as appropriate to protect the reputation and interests of the Group and colleagues.
- Providing Corporate Affairs input to support delivery of projects or where appropriate delivering projects and initiatives within relevant business areas.
- Deputising for senior manager colleagues and handling media queries out of hours on a rotational basis.
