Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Product Management or Customer Engineering
- 5+ years experience in product management
- Proven results influencing stakeholders and displaying improvements
- Ability to translate complex problems and ideas into easily understood descriptions
- Familiarity with Jira, Figma, Agile or related project management tools and frameworks
What the job involves
- Research market needs – Review market data and complete an informative analysis of findings. Develop a product strategy that guides the team towards goals that meet the needs of both the end-user and the business. Ensure stakeholders have a solid understanding of the product and its capabilities to ensure company-wide success
- Manage product releases – Draft and distribute product briefs to ensure the smooth introduction of each new release. Answer questions and troubleshoot issues throughout the release lifecycle
- Practice customer-centric development – Work with clients to understand their unique needs and pain points. Capture and share client feedback with the team to best investigate ways to create a solution. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure features and functionality are meeting market needs in new and innovative ways. Report the success of the products and strategize improvements needed
- Agile Management – Run daily rituals like scrum, backlog grooming, planning, and retrospective for a cross-functional team. Monitor the progress of issues and provide solutions for the development team

Nautical was created to efficiently orchestrate the full lifecycle of marketplace transactions across the multitude of systems involved.
The company's multi-vendor platform makes marketplace technology accessible to businesses of all stripes, from startups to enterprises, allowing them to take advantage of multi-vendor opportunities. There is a clear market for this: businesses leveraging the marketplace model grow 10% faster year over year as compared to their e-commerce competitors. Additionally, retailers with marketplaces saw a 34% traffic increase to their site.
Nautical has invested in growing its team in its NYC and Toronto offices. With a larger team, the company is better placed to work towards its goal to enhancing its multi-vendor product capabilities. Nautical also want to expand to new markets in addition to its existing operations in the US, Canada, UAE, Australia, and France.
