Role
Who you are
- You will have at least 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, having previously supported multiple executives and ideally at C-level
- Ideally have previously been part of a start-up organisation
- Able to prioritise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - bonus if you have experience working across multiple time zones!
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong attention to detail, driving projects to completion under deadlines
- Your way of communication, leadership and negotiation sticks out
- Friendly, transparent, articulate and driven to succeed
- Someone who has a bias for action and can get things done with limited supervision
- Solid understanding and experience using Google Workplace, Slack and video conferencing tools i.e. Google Meet, Zoom, WebinarJam
- Planning and Organising: Plans ahead and works in a systematic and organised way. Follows directions and procedures. Delivers within the agreed time frames

What the job involves
- This is a role you will be able to make your own with the opportunity to develop a strategic partnership with the global leaders you’ll be supporting as well as getting involved with their different teams
- The person you will be working closely with and reporting into is Janice Parker, Executive Assistant to our CEO
- Acting as the information hub for the S-team, utilising your strong judgment to handle requests in order of priority, raising for resolution where necessary and managing this information flow via email, Slack and face-to-face when in the office
- You will be integral to the successful running of their teams, using your strong organisational and project management skills
- Providing meeting support by handling their dynamic and ever evolving schedules and giving them time back in their day. This will be through organising internal and external meetings across different time zones, coordinating candidate interviews, resolving calendar conflicts before they arise, and compiling the required prepwork, agendas and follow-ups on delegated actions
- Proactively remind your leaders about upcoming meetings, tasks and deadlines
- With previous skills honed using Google Workspace products, assist with preparing, formatting and editing internal documents, building presentations and reports
- At Luno we love to have fun while working so your experience coordinating events will come in handy for team building as well as London office socials
- Compiling of expense claims and credit card reconciliations
- When travel resumes and the need arises, coordinating arrangements including international flights, accommodation, visas where required and general logistics to ensure the S-team member has a successful trip abroad
- Supporting the Executive Assistant to the CEO with ad-hoc tasks and special company events and projects such as our monthly Mission Briefings and annual Summit
Our take
The rise of cryptocurrency in the last 5 years have been dramatic. While there hasn't yet been a huge breakthrough in terms of a mainstream product for consumers, there are some interesting applications appearing
Luno's products include a bitcoin wallet for storing crypto currencies, an exchange for buying them and merchant services that enable banks and retailers to work with bitcoin
Companies and investors see the potential for bitcoin, particularly around international transfers and infrastructure and operational opportunities for the banking industry
