Role
Who you are
- Proven experience running end to end US payrolls
- Experience managing all aspects of multi-state payroll and benefits for a blended exempt/non-exempt workforce in a high growth organisation
- Solid understanding of controls and payroll best practices
- Driven and with the ability to balance multiple priorities at any time
- Excellent skills in problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate payroll matters to finance and non-finance teams
- Previous experience of managing new payroll system implementations (ADP)
- Ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity as new processes and systems are put in place
- Experience dealing with US benefits compliance
What the job involves
- We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager for 6 months initially (ideally to start ASAP), to join our US People Team where you'll be responsible for processing payroll for our US workforce and supporting European operations where needed
- Processing end to end semimonthly payroll for our US workforce
- Assist other countries as and when required
- Analysing and reporting on Payroll data to ELT
- Work with the FP&A team to provide insights on payroll related spend and prepare the analysis as necessary
- Be our SME on US Benefits
- Process improvement on current ways of working
- Head up our transition project to move to ADP
- Be with subject matter expert relating to local/state taxes
- Create effective and robust governance, control frameworks and ensure process documentation is in place and regularly reviewed
