Who you are
- Currently enrolled in a relevant program (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
What the job involves
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruitment Intern to join our dynamic team for an 8-month internship.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in recruitment within a fast-paced tech environment.
- You’ll work closely with the Recruiters and Hiring Managers to help scale BlueCat during a busy hiring period.
- You will bring insight and ownership to initiatives that improve our processes, strengthen our talent brand, and enable us to be more data-driven decision makers
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including background checks and contract extensions. Enable the recruitment team to focus on strategic initiatives by handling routine administrative duties
- Recruitment Initiatives: Play a key role in setting up the automation of the approval process for hiring and onboarding. Collaborate with the recruitment and finance teams to streamline operations and reduce manual effort
- Reporting and Analytics: Help establish proper reporting mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely data for decision-making. Generate reports and analyze recruitment metrics to support strategic planning
- Sourcing Candidates: Support recruiters in sourcing candidates and expanding the talent pool. Utilize various channels to identify and attract top talent for open positions
- Employer Branding and Social Media: Assist in enhancing BlueCat's employer brand through social media and other channels. Create and share engaging content that highlights our company culture and attracts potential candidates
