Who you are
- Available from December 2024 for a duration of 6-8 months
- Currently study in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in either Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong interest in AI/ML technologies and their applications in business and industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrated creativity and innovative thinking, with a passion for learning and problem-solving
- Experience with data analysis, programming languages (such as Python), or Machine Learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow or PyTorch) is a plus

- This program offers interns the chance to gain hands-on experience in marketing, sales, and AI/ML domain while contributing to innovative projects in the field of AI embedding models
- At Jina AI, our mission is to lead the advancement of multimodal AI through innovative embedding and prompt-based technologies, focusing specifically on areas like natural language processing, image and video analysis, and cross-modal data interaction
- This specialization allows us to provide unique solutions that turn complex, multi-source data into actionable insights and groundbreaking applications
Our take
Traditional search systems built for textual data don’t work in a world brimming with images, video, and other multimedia. Jina AI is looking to change this, helping companies unlock unstructured data in a way that’s fast, scalable, and data-agnostic.
Jina AI is an open-source startup that uses neural search to help its users find information in their unstructured data (including videos and images). Making use of relatively new machine learning technologies like transfer learning and representation learning, the company’s core Jina framework can help developers quickly build search tools for their specific use cases.
The Jina AI developer community currently counts about 1,000 users. Applications range from video game developers who use it to auto-fill relevant game assets in the right-click, to legal-tech startups that use it to enable chatbots to provide Q&A experiences that draw on data from PDF documents. With substantial funding to fuel its neural search platform in 2021, Jina AI now has 4 offices on 3 continents and is steadily growing its customer base.
