Who you are
- Proven experience in executive support, office or operations management, and exposure to people operations or HR tasks
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment and pivot between strategic and tactical priorities
- Experience with HRIS/ATS, scheduling tools, and collaboration platforms a plus

What the job involves
- We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and people-centric People Operations Analyst to support Cube’s leadership, own office operations, and help drive key people & recruiting initiatives
- This unique role is a blend of traditional administrative support, operational excellence, and hands-on people operations work — perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and enjoys wearing many hats
- You will be the backbone of seamless execution across executive support, team-oriented operational workflows, and early-stage people ops efforts that help keep our culture strong and our teams growing
- Executive Support
- Provide high-level support to senior leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel planning, and inbox triage
- Draft, proof, and distribute internal and external communications on behalf of leadership
- Assist with event prep, board materials, and cross-functional coordination as needed
- Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations; supplies, vendor relationships, facilities coordination, and day-to-day logistics
- Maintain a welcoming, professional, efficient workspace (in-office and hybrid environments)
- Organize company-wide events, team offsites, and internal gatherings that build community
- People Operations
- Partner with recruiting to support scheduling, candidate communication, interview coordination, and onboarding logistics
- Assist with early-stage HR processes including new hire orientation, recordkeeping, and employee lifecycle tracking
- Support employee engagement efforts, benefits communication, and people programs that enhance culture and retention
- Help refine and implement scalable people ops processes, systems, and documentation across the organization
- What Success Looks Like:
- Leadership and teams feel supported, operational needs are anticipatorily addressed, and people ops processes contribute to a positive employee experience
- The office environment runs smoothly, events are executed well, and executive workflows scale effectively
- Recruiting, onboarding, and internal communications consistently reflect Cube’s culture and values
Our take
The uncertainty, shocks, and changes faced by organizations across the board over recent years has shone a spotlight on the importance of detailed financial planning and analysis (FP&A). It’s precipitated a change in what tools companies use, too - traditional use of excel spreadsheets doesn’t always cut it in terms of efficiency and ease-of use. FP&A startup Cube is hoping to offer a solution.
Instead of looking to replace the spreadsheet with specialist software, like startups Centage and Limelight are shooting for, Cube’s approach is different. The company is banking on customers looking for a faster, more powerful solution, but one that nevertheless retains the familiarity of excel - and its easy-integration with other areas of business operations. The result is a excel-compatible, spreadsheet bi-directional product with enhanced planning features like automated data consolidation, multi-scenario analysis, and drilldown audit trail capabilities.
Investors are betting on Cube’s approach proving popular. Cube has attracted some impressive funding, and the addressable market is potentially huge; for a relatively young startup, Cube has seen good growth with a unique product.
