Role
Who you are
- You ideally have double Engineer / Business education
- You have a 1st successful experience (besides internships/apprenticeships) as:
- Either strategy / management consultant working with C-levels
- Or Chief of Staff, CEO’s right-hand, Venture Capital, entrepreneur
- You have proven success in project coordination and reporting
- You are skilled in market research and data presentation
- You ideally have experience in the health industry
- You love dealing with numerous different topics each day & you have a powerful organization to handle them effectively
- You have that inner Business sense and an acute common sense
- You have good financial reflexes
- You are a concise written and verbal communication and your presentation are very impactful
- You are definitely IT agile (Pack Office, Notion, Slack, CRM tools, etc.)
- You are super fluent in both French & in English
- You feel & get what’s happening on the field / inside teams
- You put the focus on what matters, and think about "what's next" on your own
- You are analytical, structured, rigorous & analytical, but always make things simple
- You strive for excellence & you are permanently unsatisfied

What the job involves
- As we grow, in France, Europe and in the US, we are opening a new Chief of Staff position, to work directly with the COO and the CEO
- This is a 360-degree role where you are expected to support and amplify the CEO/COO capacities by operationally managing the company goals / priorities / special strategic projects, and making sure our organization and our communication promote creativity, collaboration and performance
- You will be involved in a wide array of tasks requiring you to interact with all departments internally and a great variety of people outside the organization
- We closed a SeriesA round in January 2022 and the position includes preparing SeriesB round
- It’s a unique opportunity to embark on the scaling journey of an innovative & international Start-Up
- You will contribute to fundraising operations
- You will more specifically take care of the coming Series B organization, by coordinating resources, producing needed contents, tracking progresses
- You will support the COO set company targets & track progresses
- You will make sure, for key projects, that a proper ownership is in place and targets are understood
- You bring your support in building reports / dashboards to keep a clear track of the most important initiatives
- You will suggest remediations in order to fight coordination-related inefficiencies of projects
- You will suggest the best way to organize ComEx / CoDir / Managers / Employees meetings (attendees, frequency, length, support material…)
- You will handle important meetings
- By structuring the agenda in advance & coordinating with speakers / attendees to ensure the topics are prepared
- By ensuring COO & CEO has an up-to-date information from every function
- By sharing notes, and tracking follow-up action items
- You will continuously look for:
- Improving the company’s organization and reporting structure
- Maintaining our excellent collaboration environment
- Installing a system and culture that facilitates effective decision-making and shared infos
- You will collect data, analyze current situations & markets, do recommendations, and implement with internal and external stakeholders
- You will work on Company processes optimization, in reviewing current situation review, implementation & monitoring new processes, organizing the knowledge management, finding the automation / organizational tools
- You will contribute to team alignment by identifying holes in communication by attending specifics meetings
- You will improve internal communication guidelines (what message in which channel),
- And implement relevant, effective and highly scalable processes accordingly
- You will be formatting information for internal and external communication (memos, emails, PPT presentations, reports) & support the CEO/COO in building impactful and insightful presentations
- You will act as the communication arm for the CEO/COO when needed
- At Implicity, you will have a weekly meeting with the COO and regular meetings with the CEO, to help you succeed in your mission, and continuously improve your skills
- Each team works with quarterly OKR, to be crystal clear, fair and honest with your targets
- The annual appraisal is shared exchange moment, focused on your development

Our take
The MedTech boom has seen many innovations through the 2010s, and Implicity, a remote patient monitoring and cardiac data management company, has definitely had a clear lineage of growth since its founding in 2016.
Implicity develops software to monitor and analyse the information from pacemakers and cardiovascular devices to aid physicians and healthcare professionals through all stages of a patient’s treatment. However, maintaining growth on one product alone is hard, especially with so much Medtech competition. Implicity remedies this with its other product, a data analysis platform that uses AI and cloud technology to analyse the devices linked up to its aforementioned pacemaker and cardio health platform. Implicity leverages this data for use in patient management, clinical studies, and R&D.
Playing both fields of MedTech has diversified the draw for hospitals and companies to Implicity. It continues to update and diversify the double offering via updates to its systems with the company hoping to exemplify the continued innovation that is key to MedTech company growth.
