Who you are
- Have 5 or more years of professional experience in a full-time engineering manager role for product engineering teams
- Experience leading team sizes of 15-20+ with managers or leads reporting into you
- Strong decision maker who effectively balances ambiguity, available data, speed, and quality
- Have participated in developing or driving engineering-wide initiatives (recruiting processes, career frameworks, etc) in a prior role
- Have prior experience managing complex, long-term projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Effective communicator and story-teller. Able to influence cross functional stakeholders and adjacent teams

- Our product integrates deeply with the services that present security risk to a company, pulls and analyzes data from those sources, and surfaces potential security threats to our customers in real time with guidance to remediate them
- You’ll be responsible for setting strategy, for leading your team to deliver results consistently and sustainably, for growing and developing talented engineers, and for cultivating a healthy, results-driven culture on your team

- You’ll leverage your past experience and play a crucial role in laying the groundwork for a successful engineering organization, contributing to developing foundational processes that enable our entire team to scale — onboarding, interview loops, career frameworks, execution frameworks, and more

Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with startups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
