- Currently enrolled for a Bachelors / Masters degree relevant to finance, business administration, economics or related
- Ideally some knowledge of German tax laws and German accounting standards (HGB)
- Experience working with spreadsheets and accounting systems is highly appreciated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Proficiency in Google Sheets is a nice-to-have
- Fluency in English; German is a plus
What the job involves
- This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Finance Intern who wants to receive a solid overview of the accounting processes that are the foundations of a Finance Department in the esports field
- As a Finance Intern, you will contribute to and have a strong impact on our business by supporting our team to achieve its goals
- Preparatory bookkeeping in spreadsheets and accounting tools, support posting in the accounting systems
- Dealing with incoming invoices and considering correct approval processes
- Dealing with credit card transactions: recording and processing
- Supporting reconciliation and other financial transactions
- Processing travel costs and expenses for reimbursement
- Storing and archiving documents
- Supporting Finance Team with projects and research on future processes
- Providing ongoing support to colleagues and external accountants
