Who you are
- You have a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a related field
- A structured, analytical approach and strong written communication
- High ownership, bias to action, and comfort with ambiguity
- Experience (or curiosity) with tools/frameworks like n8n, Python, SQL, etc
- Working proficiency with LLMs (Claude, OpenAI) is a plus
- Previous experience in consulting, banking, or other fast-paced startups is a plus
- Fluent English; Latvian or German is a plus
What the job involves
- Join finmid’s Strategy & Operations team to own projects. You’ll work cross-functionally with colleagues across Europe, learn from experienced operators and managers, and help shape our product and processes at an early stage
- This role intends to equip you with the skills to succeed in an impactful full-time role at finmid, and we will extend job offers to return full-time for the best performers
- Own: Take end-to-end ownership of projects with clear, measurable OKR impact; become a subject matter expert of your allocated topics, e.g., hands-on e2e process automation through n8n and similar tools
- Analyse: Dive deep into operational data, size opportunities, and turn insights into action plans. Then own these action plans and deliver on them end-to-end. This means both doing the dirty work and helping coordinate
- Structure: Understand, map, and improve processes across Risk, Ops, Product, Compliance, and Partnerships
- Communicate: Prepare concise briefs for leadership and support weekly business reviews. Keep relevant documentation crisp and current
- Learn: Fully leverage and further develop critical business skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis, coding, project management, communications, and stakeholder management in a high-functioning team environment
- Duration: 6 months, full-time
