Software Developer Engineer in Test, Blackberry

• Currently enrolled in a relevant program of study
• Experience programming with C#, C/C++, or Python
• Experience with the Windows platforms
• Knowledge of black-box and white-box testing methodologies
• Software debugging and testing skills
• Working knowledge of tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira

• As a member of the test team, you represent our customers and their users to ensure every aspect of the product is simple, intuitive and works as expected

• Collaborate with team members to enhance advanced frameworks/tools for test automation
• Write automated test cases using Python and C# to ensure regressions do not occur with new releases
• Write and execute test plans, test cases from user stories, workflows and specifications
• Work productively and effectively with minimal oversight. Proactively identify and communicate issues as they arise
• Contribute to process improvement while establishing best practices for testing
• Utilize debugging and troubleshooting skills on a regular basis. Learn and develop new skills quickly as needed
