Sales Development Manager, Chalk

• Proven experience owning and building SDR playbooks from scratch
• Track record of achieving and exceeding KPIs
• Mastery of sales and outbound tooling—you understand what tools we need and why

• Both left- and right-brained—you are as comfortable workshopping messaging as you are analyzing metrics

• Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the Founding SDR Manager will take on and scale our incredible outbound SDR team
• The Chalk SDR organization is sharp, gritty, and creative in finding Chalk’s next customers at the right time
• You will strategically implement repeatable processes, evolve the SDR playbook, manage a team of SDRs, and play a meaningful role in the success of Chalk’s GTM organization
• Hire, onboard, and train world-class SDRs to identify and create qualified opportunities
• Build a playbook across different segments and personas to create repeatability
• Meticulously monitor and analyze team performance metrics and KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary
• Own and manage the outbound tech stack
• Coach SDRs to improve their prospecting, qualification, and outbound/inbound sales skills, ensuring consistent improvement
• Ensure effective lead tracking, reporting, and data management in the CRM system; analyze performance metrics, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and execute initiatives to optimize sales development
• Collaborate with product marketing, sales, developer advocacy, and operations to refine messaging
• Demonstrate leadership in shaping our value messaging and contribute to strategic sales cycles
