Who you are

Experienced working in digital product design
Confident shipping interaction design work in web applications
An excellent visual and written communicator who is able to clearly communicate your design work and the support for your design decisions
Experienced with advanced prototyping tools (e.g. Principle, Framer, Sketch, Figma, InVision)
Familiar with cloud infrastructure and have experience with platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Able to write HTML, CSS, and React/JavaScript
Energetic, curious, and eager to learn something new

What the job involves

Take Product Design off of our CEO’s hands. Being a UX-heavy product, this is now, and will always be, one of the most impactful roles at Superblocks
Own product design and collaborate with the CEO, CTO, Engineering team, and our customers to pour their feedback back into the Superblocks product
Be involved in every step of the process—defining product, collaborating with PMs, customers, and engineering leads, and researching, prototyping, and scaling design with new systems
See your design work through from start to finish: turn insights from user feedback into ideas, sketch, and prototype to bring them to life, and ship products and features that make Superblocks better
Work closely with our Engineering team to understand how your designs will be built

Our take

Founders Brad Menezes and Ran Ma went through the same process again and again of building new custom tools at every company they worked for, so they decided to do something about it. Realising that building blocks were usually very similar, they’ve created a universal building platform that allows companies to build custom tools more quickly and easily than before.

Superblocks' selling point is customization - it has a wide range of app, SSO and monitoring integrations, including Slack, Google, and Datadog. It also offers both a managed service and a hybrid model with open-source packages.

However, the market for customer tools and workflow automation is a competitive one, with plenty of rivals like Retool and Airplane with good reputations and large customer bases. Superblocks stands in good stead though, with the impressive level of funding it has raised focussed on improving and expanding the range of tools it offers.
