Role
Who you are
- Experience driving the launch of a new product or business into the market - ideally some time spent in a startup
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with limited runway
- Experience of carrying out product discovery and validation – utilising a variety of techniques to validate assumptions
- Experience making hard, data-driven decisions (incl. User Testing, Analytics, Market Research, Competitor Analysis, Defining Metrics and KPIs)
- Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Experience of working with small Agile Teams: Product Managers, Product Designers, Developers, QAs
- Experience of Product Delivery including User Story Creation, Prioritisation (based on value), and End User Testing
- Comfortable with tools such as Figma, Miro, Trello (or similar), Typeform, Maze, Webflow (or similar), Mixpanel, GoogleAnalytics, GoogleTagManger
- Non-essential but nice to have skills: Social Media Ads, Google Ads, Hubspot (or similar), Postman, SQL, Retool, Airtable
What the job involves
- Working alongside our Founders, F+L Capital and our Product Lead in our London office to create and validate product strategies for pre-seed businesses
- No two days will be the same, as you will be launching new products / businesses while working with up to 2 Founders at a time
- You’ll develop a strong understanding of multiple products, industries, markets, problems and user personas through exposure to many of the Founders we work with
- You will be the central point of contact for the Founder and own overall successful delivery of the development goals
- Be commercially aware, focusing on development of product value proposition and business case, setting metrics, and tracking progress to ensure the product roadmap is successful
- Get stuck in wearing many hats - we’re a strong cross-functional team that are happy learn a new skill if it helps deliver more value to the users of our products
- You’ll work alongside a great team of Product Managers and Designers to share learnings and find solutions to problems collaboratively
- Efficiently actioning and resolving any issues that occur with support from our Founder Success Team
- You’ll drive continuous improvement across F+L by identifying opportunities for application and process improvement and feeding this into our Platform
- You will have the autonomy to make decisions with no micro-management or hierarchy to slow you down
- Last but not least! You’ll have lots of opportunities to learn and continue to shape your product career - our portfolio and approach gives our team the autonomy to try new skills, work in different types of business at different stages / team size, you just have to tell us what you want!
