Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data analytics and complex data systems
- They must be proficient with advanced analytics tools and have exceptional abilities in cross-functional collaboration and communication, with a particular focus on performance and digital marketing
- You possess at least four years of professional experience in analytics, ideally within marketing or a related field
- Proficient in advanced analytics tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools) and familiar with data warehousing technologies like Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery
- Experience with dbt or Looker is a huge plus!
- You possess a deep understanding of the data that drives marketing analytics especially in a direct-to-consumer business context
- Skilled at identifying areas for improvement and leading the charge in implementing innovative, data-driven solutions
- You excel at seeing the bigger picture, making strategic decisions that drive value and efficiency
- Team player with a "no task is too small" attitude
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Passionate about transforming travel (but that’s a given!)
What the job involves
- In support of our mission, we are seeking a Data & Analytics Manager, Marketing to join our Data & Analytics team
- This role reports to the Director of Data & Analytics
- Develop and execute strategies for our performance and digital marketing data infrastructure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Take charge of seamlessly integrating external data sources (i.e. MMM and MTA models, channel performance data) into our existing data stack, ensuring accessibility to facilitate informed decision-making and operational efficiency
- Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring cohesive collaboration across different departments to bolster and advance our global logistics network
- Work in tandem with the marketing teams, leveraging data analytics to inform and guide strategic decisions across the organization
- Lead the development and enhancement of analytical dashboards, focusing on both the transformation of data and the delivery of comprehensive insights for strategic and efficient marketing
- Adapt and respond swiftly to new business opportunities and developments with relevant data-driven strategies
- Lead the transformation of complex data into accessible, visually appealing, and actionable insights for various stakeholders

With simple touches like adding a mobile charging pack inside the suitcase, it has given luggage a big overhaul, and has survived through both a global pandemic and controversial former CEO.
The company, now headed by co-founder Jen Rubio, spent some time revamping its core business and working on its workplace culture, and has successfully grown its internal infrastructure and retail presence in the last couple of years. In 2022 it partnered with United - its first partnership with a major airline - to provide customers with onboard amenity kits, which represents another step in the company's impressive return to form.
