Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong analytical skills with experience statistical modelling, data mining, machine learning
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI or similar
- Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
- Experience in FinTech is a strong plus
What the job involves
- Develop and implement data analytics strategies across the organisation
- Manage a team of data analysts and provide guidance on data analysis methods and tools
- Analyse large data sets and use insights gained to inform business decisions
- Work with other departments to ensure that data-driven decisions are made across the organisation
- Develop and implement processes to ensure data quality and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and share this knowledge with the team
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that data is properly collected, stored and secured
- Develop and maintain data dashboards and visualisations to communicate insights to stakeholders
- Provide insightful crisis management advice when required. Partner with Legal to ensure compliance & mitigate organisational risks
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies trends that could impact the organisation objectives
- Develop comprehensive approaches to employee development, recognition, retention and onboarding by refining or creating: compensation and benefits, career paths and employee development, succession planning, and learning opportunities
- Implement a global program for evaluating performance and providing feedback
