Role
Who you are
- You have 3+ years of experience in data-driven performance or growth marketing, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- You have demonstrated experience in building data-driven marketing funnels for various marketing channels, and optimising them to drive user acquisition and engagement.
- You have proven experience in tracking the user journey from the top to the bottom of the funnel and beyond, with total precision, and using advanced tracking and analytics tools to measure and analyse user behaviour and campaign performance.
- You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions with total precision, and to use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization in all areas of the marketing funnel.
- You have experience working with marketing analytics tools and integrations, including campaign tracking solutions that track a user from point of contact to app and beyond, and the ability to use these tools to measure and analyse campaign performance
- You have strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- You have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- You have experience in setting up and using tracking platforms and solutions such as Google Analytics, Revenue Cat, AppsFlyer or equivalent, Meta business suite, Mixpanel, etc

- London-based meditation app startup seeks Marketing Data Scientist to elevate data-driven marketing efforts
- As the Marketing Data Scientist, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring and implementing measurement and tracking for every marketing channel to drive user acquisition and engagement through data-driven marketing initiatives
- You will be obsessed with measuring every aspect of the funnel with total precision and will be responsible for tracking and analysing performance metrics across all channels to ensure success and ROI. You will also be responsible for all the technical aspects. Your goal will be to measure and optimise every step of the user journey, from awareness to download, to paid user, and beyond
- Building and optimising the effective tracking and measurement of marketing funnels for every channel to drive user acquisition and engagement, including establishing the effective use of third-party software tools.
- Tracking the user journey from point of contact to app download and beyond using the best tools, integrations, and practices
- Monitoring and analysing every aspect of the user journey on every channel and comparing performance to identify areas of improvement
- Setting up, implementing and configuring all the technical aspects of funnel tracking for all channels all the way through to app tracking and beyond
- Demonstrating cost per impression, cost per click, cost per download, cost per paid user, lifetime value, churn, and ROI for each channel
- Identifying areas of high churn across channels and working with the marketing team to optimise marketing campaigns to reduce churn
- Developing and implementing A/B testing strategies to optimise marketing channels
- Providing support and tracking tools to the marketing team for each marketing initiative
- Collating data from all marketing funnels and creating a dashboard to track key metrics including spend, conversion, cost per download (CPD), cost per paid user (CPPU), lifetime value (LTV), churn, and ROI across all channels
- Using the marketing funnel dashboard to present the performance of every marketing initiative, with all the metrics and comparisons to other channels
- Using the latest technologies, solutions, products, and integrations to support data-driven marketing, tracking every part of a user’s journey
- Using the marketing funnel dashboard to analyse ROI across all channels to build a revenue forecast model that predicts free and paid users, revenue, and lifetime value based on marketing spend
