Role
Who you are
- 4-5 years of design experience under your belt. If you've designed enterprise products before, that's even more impressive!
- Skills in conducting discovery research to test hypotheses and rapid prototyping to validate design solutions
- Familiarity with different research methods and design terminology is your secret weapon
- Your designs may be brilliant, but we also expect you to present them in a clear and understandable manner
- Ability to design, test and support implementation of your designs
- Good design tools skills such as Figma, XD or Sketch (we work with Figma)
- Communication is key, so we expect you to have C1 or above English language skills
- Be a team player. But don't forget to bring your independent streak too
- As a designer, you'll be juggling multiple tasks, so multitasking and time-management skills are crucial
What the job involves
- Unleash your creativity by creating annotated wireframes, user flows, and prototypes for native desktop and web design to illustrate design decisions. Let your designs be a canvas for innovation and user-centric experiences
- Engage with end-users through frequent touchpoints to understand their needs and preferences. Become their advocate and ensure their voices are heard
- Embark on qualitative and quantitative user experience research expeditions. Dive deep into the world of user behavior, uncover insights, and transform them into actionable design improvements
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user experience research like a Sherlock Holmes of design
- Embrace rapid prototyping as a powerful tool to evaluate potential product solutions. Iterate quickly, test ideas, and gather feedback to refine your designs
- Work closely with the development team to create seamless design illusions that come to life. Your ability to weave together design and code will leave everyone wondering, "How did they do that?"
- Contribute to our internal design systems and adhere to their guidelines while crafting interfaces. Find the balance between creativity and consistency, ensuring our designs reflect our brand and provide a seamless user experience

PVcase's tools - Ground Mount, Roof Mount, and Yield - deliver a broad scope of possibilities for clients, with capabilities including reducing project costs whilst boosting reliability, intelligent automation, and cloud-based energy modelling.
The company has seen good funding up to Series B, which has been used to build out the product suite and support expansion into the US. In 2023, PVcase acquired US-based Anderson Optimization, a site selection software company that aids developers in assessing the feasibility of new solar power plant sites. As the solar power market expands, this strategic acquisition is symptomatic of PVcase's growth ambitions.
