Who you are

You should be comfortable working across the stack — delivering sleek, responsive UIs on the frontend and building scalable, reliable systems on the backend
Have at least 2 years of non-internship experience in software development
Have a solid grasp of Software Engineering fundamentals (OOP, OOD, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Design Patterns)
Experience with JS/TS, and GoLang
Experience with frontend development using React.js
Solid backend knowledge using Node.js and Express
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and containerization/orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Understanding of system design, API best practices, microservices architecture, reliability, scalability, and maintainability concepts
Strong communication and collaboration skills
You are always aiming to write maintainable and testable code
Most importantly, you are a swiss knife, you are willing to learn whatever it is to get the job done

Desirable

Familiarity with gRPC, GraphQL, or other modern API patterns
Exposure to Cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure (especially Cloud Functions or serverless stacks)
Experience working on ML/AI infra
A product-focused mindset: you care about shipping and solving problems, not just clean architecture

What the job involves

We're searching for a Fullstack Engineer who is experienced in JavaScript or TypeScript, and has hands-on experience building with React.js

Our take

Numrah is a mobile messaging development company operating out of Saudi Arabia, aiming to become the leading messaging company in the Middle East and North Africa.

Whilst European and Western digital messaging app markets are in the thrall of companies such as WhatsApp, the MENA region is a varied and province-dependent sector. Numrah has been cited as one of Saudi Arabia’s best mobile startups on beststartup.asia, and seems to be turning heads across the region.

That being said, Numrah’s website only has two products - a toolkit for evaluating business ideas and an app-building cost calculator. Whilst these two products may act as an initial introduction and consultancy for Numrah, its client list and achievements to date are either still in stealth mode or are yet to come to fruition. Numrah must build up a public client list and expand its team to achieve the ambitious goals it has set itself.
