Company mission

To empower professionals worldwide to be more effective in their work and to lead happier lives so that they can ignite businesses.

Role

Who you are

  • A true networker
  • Hand on, someone who knows how to get things done
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or acquisition
  • Fluency in German & English
  • A team player that is buzzing with ideas and energy
  • Someone who does not give up and feels comfortable reaching out to buying personas up to director level

What the job involves

  • Together with the Account Manager you decided to pursue two types of programs: first time leaders & commercial teams. In the next 4 weeks you will be:
  • Booking and having meetings with junior HR/L&D specialists to understand how L&D is organized within the accounts
  • Sit down with Marketing to connect on a modern marketing strategy
  • Sitting down with senior managers and directors to get a better understanding of the business needs (and the existing solutions they have access to)
  • Picking up on potential projects that Lepaya wants to qualify for
  • Have shared introduction meetings together with the account director
  • On a daily basis you are connected to the account manager, because you two are a true tandem
  • You tell them where to focus and together you prepare a demo for tomorrow’s intro meeting with a new stakeholder
  • You really enjoy being the eyes and ears of Lepaya, you love spending the majority of your time with these key accounts!
  • You are a true connector and people by default share loads of information with you; information that you use to further fine tune our proposition
  • You come up with smart ideas on how to identify new opportunities and how to approach potential customers
  • In this you work closely with marketing, but also with other Lepayans who can potentially give you access to new stakeholders within the accounts
  • Your first-year achievements:
  • Increase Lepaya's market share by generating and qualifying warm leads through (potential) customer contact by email, telephone, events and through networking and networks of others
  • Identifying needs and wishes of prospects and customers and how we can best fulfill them
  • Identifying opportunities for Lepaya and developing them into concrete plans
  • Increasing Lepaya's brand awareness
  • Contribute to the improvement of our account strategies

Application process

  • First, an introductory interview; then, a chat with the hiring manager; followed by a technical interview or a business case; a chance to meet our founder; and finally, an offer!
  • We're all about getting to know you better, so we'll invite you to our office for a face-to-face stage, where you can meet potential future colleagues and experience our awesome office vibes firsthand!

Our take

Lepaya is an edtech company which was established with the belief that the right training at the right time is paramount to making organisations more productive. They provide training via a hybrid learning model, combining bite-sized online content with group sessions led by experienced trainers.

Lepaya combines "hard" skills with "soft" skills, which they call "power skills" training. Lepaya has worked with scale-ups such as Mollie, Picnic and Bynder as well as multinationals such as L’Oréal, Microsoft and KPMG.

The global training and development sector is worth billions. With its 2023 funding boost (the largest annual funding raise in its sector) and 2022 acquisition of UK-based SpeakFirst, Lepaya aims to drive its mission to make fast-growing companies more productive by upskilling their workforce. Lepaya will use the funding and acquisitions to further expand into European markets such as the UK, Germany, and the Nordics.
